MANITOWOC IDT0420A/ SPA160 470lb Ice Machine w/ Ice Dispenser
With its programmable volume and hours of operation, the Manitowoc Ice IDT0420A/SPA-160 Indigo NXT™ commercial ice machine and dispenser is customizable to fit the needs of its operator. The ice maker head produces dice ice, a common all-around staple for hotels and motels because of its relatively large size and slow melting rate. An acoustical probe inside the head monitors cube thickness to ensure ice is produced consistently at the same size, while diagnostics help the user quickly and efficiently deal with machine problems.
The Manitowoc Ice IDT0420A/SPA-160 ice maker and dispenser has a built-in agitator in the dispenser, which churns ice to prevent large chunks and maximize the amount available to customers. By regulating the flow as it comes out of the dispenser, a rocking chute mechanism limits ice waste, and in case of spills, the drain pan is oversized and can catch the loose ice. This dispenser’s DuraTech® exterior provides defense against dirt stains and other smudges.
